Activist CD-ROMs! Woo!

I just got two new CDs: a copy of European Newsreal #4, and the BeyondTV.org Pe@ce CD.

If anyone would like copies, please send enough money to cover the CD, postage and packaging (about $10) to

Agent Orange
PO Box 1913
Christchurch

I've only had a chance to skim through them, SAUL WILLIAMS COLDCUT REMIX is all I have to say so far... I'll post a review sometime.

Newsreal #4

Robodock:
A visual sketch of the ferocious, baccanalian and very underground Amsterdam Festival by Kamuflage (DK)

Hub TV Florence:
Real Pirate TV i Florence. Ruff and ready but they like it that way! Applying surely one of the best uses for TV going out on the Airwaves and telling people to leave their TV sets behind and get to where they are having a party! by Candida TV (I)

USRAF Fairford
Watch out there's 50 people come from Brighton for this anti-war protest - something's bound to happen!! by Undercurrents (UK)

Graffitti Night Out
The media isn't just what you read in the newspapers and see on TV. Fed up with the corporate media, we decided to make our own. Thousands of people commute to work along this road every day. We thought we'd deliver our message directly to them. by Undercurrents (UK)

Bambule Trailer Park
A very powerful show of support for this evicted Trailer part in Hamburg turned into actions to bring down the right wing populist government of Hamburg!

beyondTV.org Pe@ce CD-ROM

A collection of work on Iraq and the history behind the latest invasion, including extracts from the documentary "Hidden Wars of Desert Storm", a short speech from Bush as you have never seen him before, telling it how it is, and a comprehensive selection of briefings from ARROW (Active Resistance to the Roots of War) dating from the 20th of September 2001 up to 27 February 2003.

Videos and essays on the global context, including a video of the occupation of a military base by the Zapatistas, essays by George Monbiot on resource use and climate change, information about the Baku-Ceyhan oil pipeline, and a video from the Trident Ploughshares movement.

Videos about mass and solo direct action follow, including a video on sabotage tactics that I don't have the right software to run. In fact there's a whole collection of videos from british anti-war actions in 2002. Instructions for getting out fo the oil economy: convert your car to run on vegetable oil.

Plus a two-hour anti-war radio show, and half-a-dozen tunes from my favourite peacenik musos at Ninja Tune
