The media isn't just what you read in the newspapers and see on TV. Fed up with the corporate media, we decided to make our own. Thousands of people commute to work along this road every day. We thought we'd deliver our message directly to them. by Undercurrents (UK)
Bambule Trailer Park
A very powerful show of support for this evicted Trailer part in Hamburg turned into actions to bring down the right wing populist government of Hamburg!
Videos and essays on the global context, including a video of the occupation of a military base by the Zapatistas, essays by George Monbiot on resource use and climate change, information about the Baku-Ceyhan oil pipeline, and a video from the Trident Ploughshares movement.
Videos about mass and solo direct action follow, including a video on sabotage tactics that I don't have the right software to run. In fact there's a whole collection of videos from british anti-war actions in 2002. Instructions for getting out fo the oil economy: convert your car to run on vegetable oil.
Plus a two-hour anti-war radio show, and half-a-dozen tunes from my favourite peacenik musos at Ninja Tune
